The steak and salad were delicious, the portions were generous, and the homemade fries were also excellent.
An absolute must-try! By far the best cream schnitzel I've ever had in Saarland, and I've had a lot. The owners are incredibly nice, super friendly and accommodating, and the best part is that children are welcome (with a certain level of proper behavior, of course). All in all, a real hidden gem. My wife's rump steak was also absolutely top-notch. This is now my regular spot. Keep up the great work! Best regards.
We ate at the Hellbergstuben with the family today and were more than impressed! The boho-style ambiance creates a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, the rooms are bright and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The food was simply delicious: the starter was a baguette with a dip. The rump steak was cooked to perfection, the fries were crispy, and I loved the sauce on the side salad. The service staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!
Very delicious food. Friendly service. The steak is top-notch, and the salads are delicious too. I'd go back anytime 👍 And every Wednesday they also offer a breakfast buffet. I highly recommend it 😃
We had dinner with friends at the "new" Hellbergstuben last night. The food was excellent, and everyone left more than satisfied. The appetizer and garlic dip arrived perfectly timed. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. The ambiance is much more inviting compared to the "old" Hellbergstuben, but the town of Eppelborn could still improve it a bit. The restaurant offers plenty of space, with ample room between tables. Our suggestions for improvement were welcomed and addressed immediately. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and we felt well taken care of from beginning to end. We will definitely be back for dinner. Two thumbs up to the young team!
Two days after the reopening, we went back for dinner. The menu is very concise (which I definitely mean in a positive way), the food was good, and the service was attentive and very friendly. Special requests were also accommodated whenever possible, and suggestions were gratefully received. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I can highly recommend the restaurant.

We've been there several times with friends and family for dinner since it reopened in October. First of all...the ambiance in the dining room has improved compared to the previous owner. The food is high quality, and the prices are therefore justified, although you don't have to dig too deep into your pockets to enjoy a good meal here. The service actually deserves 6 stars...always friendly and particularly attentive! We can recommend the Hellbergstuben, but as is often the case...if you look hard enough, you'll definitely find something wrong 😉
It's great that there are still restaurants where you can get something to eat and drink most days. The clientele is a good mix, with almost all age groups represented. This is likely due to the on-site indoor swimming pool. Visitors often stop by for a drink or a meal after swimming. The service is friendly. There are no unpleasant smells coming from the pool. It's a pleasant place to be. Highly recommended.
